OUR STORY
Mind Body Sport was created to meet a gap between mental health care and the realities of sport. While sport environments invest heavily in physical preparation, the emotional, cognitive, and identity demands that come with training, competition, injury, and transition are often addressed later, or not at all.
The practice is grounded in the belief that mental health cannot be separated from the broader context of a person’s life. Athletes and high performers are shaped by more than their roles in sport, and mental health and performance influence one another in ways support needs to reflect.
The goal of Mind Body Sport is straightforward: to provide mental health care that is practical, evidence-informed, and relevant to real life. The focus is on helping individuals navigate pressure, transitions, and ongoing demands in ways that support both wellbeing and day-to-day functioning, in sport and beyond.
