Meet Ellyn

A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, blue eyes, and a friendly smile, wearing a pale yellow cardigan against a plain background.

Ellyn Klea is a Registered Social Worker working at the intersection of mental health and sport. Her work is grounded in clinical training, ongoing education in sport and performance psychology, and lived experience in high-performance environments.

She grew up as a national-level synchronized swimmer and later coached in the sport. These experiences shape her understanding of the intensity, pressure, and identity challenges that often come with high performance, and they continue to inform how she approaches care with a focus on the whole person, not just results.

Ellyn holds a Master of Social Work and has experience across community mental health and addictions, corrections, education, and private practice. This background supports her work with individuals navigating pressure, transition, and complex systems both in and outside of sport.

She has completed advanced training in athlete mental health, including the IOC Diploma in Mental Health in Elite Sport and a Certificate in Sport Social Work. She is currently completing graduate coursework in sport and performance psychology as part of her continued development in this area.
