I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. As a former national-level athlete and coach, I understand the pressure, intensity, and identity challenges that can come with performing at a high level. That insight shapes how I connect with clients—not just as athletes or high performers, but as whole people navigating complex roles, expectations, and life experiences.
I'm a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and have a Master of Social Work. My clinical background includes experience in community mental health and addictions, corrections, and the education system—providing a strong foundation for working with individuals across diverse systems of care. I use a range of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care.
I’ve completed advanced training in athlete mental health, including a Diploma in Mental Health in Elite Sport from the International Olympic Committee and a Certificate in Sport Social Work. This specialized education allows me to support those in sport and high-performance spaces with an understanding of the unique mental health and performance-related challenges they may face—from injury and burnout to transitions, pressure, and stigma.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered. Whether you're just starting out, working at an elite level, or navigating high demands in sport or life, I aim to provide a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to care for your mental health.
